Great new song from Casting Crowns, my favorite group.  I love the line in this song, "The only way we'll ever stand is on our knees with lifted hands."  Reminds me of Jame 4:6-10.

Worship God Energizes

Was given the privilege of speaking Sunday morning 8/14 at Kingston Ave Baptist church.  I taught on worship that God energizes.  I'll post my outline and hopefully the message file soon.  


Here is a summary:  When we rightly worship God for who He is, God energizes the worship and powerful things happen in the lives of people!

I'm so looking forward to picking up Matt Redman's new album. He is truly a modern day Psalmist that God has chosen to speak through.

Prayer Meeting

What a great time of prayer & discussion we had last night at Kingston Ave Baptist Church.  God was present.  It's wonderful to see His hand at work!

Teaching Euchre

Last night I gave Allie her second lesson in how to play Euchre... I need to work on my patience with her.  I expect entirely too much from a 9 1/2 yr old.  The good news, despite her grumpy dad she's catching on fast!!
